College Rules Regarding Courses and Fees
The student must pay course fees and any additional charges in full in advance of the commencement of the course, unless otherwise arranged with the College. Where only 50% of due fees were paid, the balance will fall due and be required at the point of registration on arrival. Students who opt for a flexible payment plan for the outstanding balance will be subjected to a surcharge of 10% of the annual total tuition fee. A minimum of 80% attendance is required for each unit. If attendance falls below this, without a valid reason, the student may be suspended, not permitted to sit in the class/submit assignments or take examinations. If a student is unable to attend a class for any reason, the College Administrator should be notified explaining the circumstances. If you are absent for more than one week due to illness, you will be required to produce a medical certificate. If a student is suspended due to non-attendance, non-payment of fees and /or following a disciplinary hearing, such student will NOT be entitled to refund of fees paid to date and may be required to pay any outstanding fees. The College reserves the right to cancel a course without prior notice if there are not enough students or for any other reason.
Change of Course or Withdrawal by the College
The College reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course if there are insufficient students to conduct a class or due to any unavoidable circumstances. However, students will be offered an alternative course or refund of fess. In the event that a student decides to change from one course to another once the visa is issued, this can only be done with the College permission and the student may need to apply for new visa and in such a case where the former course has less fee as compared to the new course, there is no refund of the fee already paid.
Course Deferral
A course deferral may be allowed at BC’s discretion. Applicants are allowed to defer up to a maximum one year where they are still overseas awaiting their student visa or in case of visa refusal or if the case is still in administrative review. Applicants may only be granted such permission to defer when they have paid the first year’s tuition fee. The student must send request in writing providing all supporting documents.
Student Refund Policy
1. There will be no refund once the course(s) is commenced.
2. There will be absolutely no refund if the visa has been rejected on the grounds of fraud, deception, forgery, deceit or if student is untruthful to the UK Border Agency.
3. If the student wishes to withdraw from the course, but the course not started yet, the college will refund deposit after
deduction of GBP £450 and/or any other admin charges.
4. To claim a Refund the student must ensure that all original documents previously issued to the student by the college must be returned to the College or else there will be no refund.
5. The conditions above notwithstanding, BCC retains the right to make a refund at its sole discretion.
6. The College will take up to 4 weeks for the refund process from the date the refund is requested in writing with all relevant documents. In some case it might take longer due to verification checks with relevant Authorities.
7. The College reserves the right to cancel a course without prior notice if there are not enough students or for any other reason. In that event the student will be given the chance to transfer to an alternative course if places are available.
